Get out in the Garden with Ms. Gaby and volunteers! / Salgan al jardín con la Sra. Gaby y los voluntarios!
Tuesdays Sept 9th-Dec 16th
Grades K-5
3:15-5:15pm (pick up at front entrance of the school)
$210 (scholarships available, please email edcs.pta@gmail.com for information)
We will be breaking up dirt, turning compost, adding more soil, collecting seeds, spreading mulch to protect trees, pulling weeds, and prepping the gardens for winter.
Romperemos tierra, romperemos compost, agregaremos más tierra, recolectamos semillas, aplicaremos mantillo a los árboles, arrancaremos malezas y preparemos los jardines para el invierno.
Students will practice yoga, cooking, and nature exploration opportunities.
Los estudiantes practicarán yoga, cocinarán y tendrán la oportunidad de explorar la naturaleza.
Ms. Gaby is a multilingual special education teacher at El Dorado Community School with over a decade of experience supporting diverse learners across NM. She is licensed in Special Education (PreK-12) and Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about inclusive, project-based learning and regenerative agriculture and enjoys connecting students, families, and communities to education that nurtures academic and personal growth and environmental stewardship.
